Tell us about your business/occupation & how you ended up where you are today. 

I'm a wellness coach and blogger for Smart Fit Womxn, with two friends I met in graduate school. I am a certified exercise physiologist and an adjunct instructor at Pepperdine University where I teach students how to create exercise programs for different populations.

Describe your typical workday?

Work on our wellness coaching business at a local coffee shop, teach classes 2x/week, and offer wellness coaching appointments throughout the day


What is the biggest challenge you face in your business/job & how do you overcome it?

Fear! Praying and talking to my husband, who's an incredible motivator!


How do you keep yourself motivated?

Seeing how hard my husband and other friends who are entrepreneurs work

People will love you even if you don't show a "perfect" self to the world

I mostly go to podcasts to learn about business...Storybrand, Amy Porterfield, and Christy Wright's Business Boutique


What are your favorite productivity tips or hacks (apps, tools, organizational methods)?

Organizing my day in several hour chunks, and using the times when I'm most alert for creative work endeavors; also exercise and coffee!
